Team Drift Welcomes Australian Freestyle Motocross Rider Josh Sheehan

LONDON, (Sept. 4, 2012)- Drift Innovation,the action sports technology company and manufacturer of the Drift HD and HD720 wearable Point of View (POV) cameras, welcomes Australian Freestyle Motocross (FMX) rider Josh Sheehan to Team Drift. A member of FMX’s elite Red Bull Honda Racing team, Sheehan was chosen to represent Team Drift in one of their key markets based on his experience, world-class level of talent, and international recognition in the world of motocross.

A few of Sheehan’s career highlights from the 2011-2012 season include:

• 1st, Night of the Jumps (in Penza Russia, Munich & Hamburg Ger., and Basel Switzerland)

As Sheehan’s wearable point-of-view camera sponsor, Drift will now accompany him through every whip, back flip, and berm to capture HD footage from the vantage point of the world-class rider. Sheehan will mount cameras such as the Drift HD onto his helmet and handlebars when he rides and competes.

For the 2012-2013 FMX season, Josh will be competing in major events such as Red Bull X-Fighters, X Games and Night of the Jumps. He is also scheduled to tour with Nitro Circus Live throughout Europe and Australia, as well as tours of New Zealand (5 stops), Australia (15 stops), and the U.S (20 stops).
