Park City, UT (September 20, 2021) – Inconvenient and wasteful paper ski resort maps will soon be a thing of the past. Today, Aleck, the company behind the Aleck 006™ universal audio and communications system, announces their partnership with MapSynergy to serve up SkiMap, the most technically accurate digital ski resort maps available in North America. With an aim to make adventure sport more social, safe and immersive, the ski resort maps feature will show users the real-time GPS location of everyone in their group, so no one gets left behind. Aleck is launching this newest feature of the free Aleck GO! mobile app to make it even easier to stay together with family and friends … powder day rules notwithstanding.
The SkiMap database currently covers over 375 ski resorts in the United States and will also soon feature 12 top Canadian resorts in beautiful detail. High context digital maps provide every bit of information the paper maps contain, including locations for First Aid stations, restrooms, restaurants and transportation, along with highly detailed terrain features including topo lines, tree glades, terrain parks, gates and more.

UI/UX interface improvements include higher contrast graphics and a more intuitive user interface, making it easier to use the app while riding in variable conditions.
The Aleck GO! mobile app is free to download on the Apple/Mac App Store and Google Play. Just in time for ski season, the Aleck GO! V3 update will be available starting November 1st, 2021.
