Teva Amps Up Product Team With New Product Director
Goleta, Calif. (August 24, 2007) – Teva (a division of Deckers Outdoor Corporation NASDAQ: DECK) is proud to announce the hire of Product Line Manager, Juerg Geser. In his new role at Teva, Juerg will bring new inspiration and energy to the Teva product line.
Juerg began his career in 1993 as an EKIN Manager for Nike Switzerland, conducting product and sales training clinics for retailers. Over the next few years, Juerg held several positions within Nike’s International Division, including Footwear Product/Business Manager for Switzerland and Austria, Footwear Merchandising Manager for Switzerland, Austria and Germany, and Key Account Executive for Switzerland.
Juerg spent the last three years at K-Swiss, initially serving as International Product Line Manager, where he was a driving force behind their growth in Europe and Asia. He was later promoted to Product Director, where he oversaw the quarterly product introductions, including pricing, margins, sku count, forecast and flow plans.
Juerg will be directing Teva’s product creation and global product introduction process. Additionally, Juerg will define and temporarily fill a new role of International Product Line Manager until that position is filled sometime in 2009.
