The 20 percent Solution: Horny Toad to donate chunk of fall reorders

SANTA BARBARA, CALIF. (November 29, 2006) — Heading into the season of giving, Horny Toad will give 20 percent of fall 2006 reorders to doing good.
Taking a cut from all reorders placed prior to Dec. 15, 2006, the 20 percent Solution will donate half of all funds raised to Search for Adventure, and half to local charities selected by Horny Toad dealers.
“This is a great way to meaningfully connect with our dealers and to give back,†said Gordon Seabury, president of Horny Toad.
Search for Adventure is the co-creation of Horny Toad; Planet Access Company; and Search Developmental Center, a Chicago-based social service organization. This unique program provides large-scale outdoor adventures for people with developmental disabilities. Previous adventures have included the Appalachian Trail, the Grand Canyon, and Colorado’s Powderhorn Dude Ranch. This year, Search for Adventure will embark on at least 12 new trips. Local charities to benefit from the 20 percent Solution will be selected by Horny Toad from a list of nominations provided by current dealers.
Dealers who re-order more than $2000 of groovy, stylish, and good-looking Horny Toad gear prior to the Dec. 15 deadline will be able to specify exactly which charity they would like their portion of the proceeds to benefit.
