The Great Outdoor Store Joins Grassroots Outdoor Alliance as a Retail Member

Grassroots Outdoor Alliance is excited to announce that The Great Outdoor Store has joined our organization as a Retail Member.
Great Outdoor Store has been the premier outdoor specialty shop serving the Sioux Falls area since 1983.
The store is located in the historic Rock Island Depot. Great Outdoor Store sells outdoor, travel and lifestyle clothing and equipment. Locally owned by DeAnn and James Echols, the shop prides itself on only having top of the line products, and friendly, knowledgeable staff.
The Echols are very active in their community. James is on the board of directors for The Co-op Natural Foods in Sioux Falls, and runs Echols communications, an area marketing company. DeAnn is on the board for Downtown Sioux Falls Inc., (DTSF).
DeAnn talked about why Great Outdoor is joining the Alliance. “We are very excited to become members of Grassroots! We feel fortunate to be able to take advantage of the opportunities that membership offers and look forward to networking with other store owners and managers.”
