The New Primal Launches Brand Ambassador Team With Surfer Cyrus Sutton & Ultra Runner Kyle Dietz

(Charleston, SC) – The New Primal – makers of the world’s healthiest, most responsibly sourced 100% grass-fed beef and free-range turkey jerky, is pleased to announce the launch of their 2015-2016 brand ambassador team with cinematographer/surfer Cyrus Sutton, and ultra runner Kyle Dietz.

The New Primal’s growing ambassador team will share adventures via the company blog and social channels, speak about relevant issues in the outdoor/sustainable food industry, and create authentic content from their experiences, fueled by The New Primal products.
“We launched the ambassador program with the goals to help tell our story and spread our brand message to new audiences, while inspiring others to join in on the movement to make better food choices,” says Jason Burke, founder of The New Primal. “Cyrus and Kyle have established a strong reputation in the outdoor sports, surf and cinematography world, and share the same values and commitment to sustainable foods as The New Primal. We’re thrilled to support them in their respective fields, and welcome them to our tribe.”
Since the company’s launch in 2012, The New Primal has quickly gained recognition for pioneering grass-fed/grass-finished portable protein, and providing a cleaner, healthier alternative to conventional jerky.
About The Ambassadors
Kyle Dietz started running to condition for his past career as an MMA/UFC fighter. While training for triathlons, he went trail running with a friend and was hooked. Ever since, he has been running single-track trails, and now dedicates most of his time to train specifically for mountain races. “I’m stoked to join The New Primal’s ambassador team, and to work with like minded people that get clean eating and care about what they put in their body’s. I’m burnt out on gels, so when I’m out on my long runs it’s nice to have real food going into my body. Plus I just really love jerky!” Kyle has competed in the North Face Endurance Challenge 50m, the Potawatomi 100m, and the Run The Rut 50k, among other ultras.

Cyrus Sutton began his pro surfing career at age 18, and was introduced to cinematography through his first film, Riding Waves, shortly afterwards. In the past 10 years, Cyrus has directed commercials and videos for a number of national brands, and received an Emmy for his film project entitled, Next Wave. “After speaking with New Primal’s founders and learning about their commitment to creating jerky meat that is raised responsibility, I’m happy to work with them because I believe in the ability of grass fed beef to regenerate healthy soils on damaged agricultural lands.
