Thinsulate insulation is pleased to be celebrating “30 Years of Innovation†in 2008. It’s been nearly three decades since 3M first began inventing a family of products that captured consumers’ attention: thin insulation that provides warmth without bulk. Thus, the Thinsulate brand was born — the first thin synthetic insulation that gave consumers new choices beyond down and wool to keep warm and comfortable. This revolutionary insulation has been embraced by apparel manufacturers, retailers and consumers alike and has since become one of the most well-known insulation brands on the market today.
