Heliconia is pleased to announce the premiere showing of the third episode of Season 3 of Facing Waves. Episode 3: Sea kayaking Newfoundland and Labrador premieres this Monday, April 6th at 7:00 p.m. EST on Universal Sports Network and on Wednesday April 15th at 8:00p.m EST. on Outside Television.
Ken Whiting, host of Facing Waves and President of Heliconia travels to Newfoundland and Labrador with his Current Designs sea kayak, seeking out adventure in one of Canada’s wildest provinces. His journey begins as he explores the spectacular freshwater fjords and the rugged coastline of the infamous Gros Morne National Park. Ken then heads to Cape Broyle on the opposite side of the island of Newfoundland, where heshares a one-of-a-kind sea kayaking experience with Stan Cook, of Stan Cook’s Sea Kayaking Adventures.
