SAN FRANCISCO (May 7, 2013) – Timbuk2, the original San Francisco bag company and longtime bike commuting advocate, is celebrating National Bike to Work Month this May with a variety of events and festivities, a special limited-edition Bianchi x Timbuk2 bag, an Facebook sweepstakes, an Instagram contest, and series of GoPro bike commuting videos to get people off their butts and on their bikes.

Commuters are encouraged to stop by Timbuk2’s Energizing Stations for tasty KIND snacks, bike commuting information and enticing product giveaways.
Bike to Work Day Instagram Contest – On National Bike to Work Day (May 17), KIND and Timbuk2 will run an Instagram contest encouraging folks to capture their bike commute to work on Instagram. Not only will connect other bike commuters across the country by sharing real-world images of bike commutes, but it will also encourage folks get on the bike commuting bandwagon. To enter, users simply Instagram their ride to work and tag is #ridetowork. The five Instagrams with the most “likes” will receive a Limited Edition KIND x Timbuk2 Messenger bag full of KIND bars.
Bianchi x Timbuk2 Limited Edition Bag – Timbuk2 honors their unique bike heritage and allegiance to two-wheeled machines with an extremely limited-edition Bianchi x Timbuk2 Messenger Bag made in San Francisco.
