Timbuk2 Launches the “California Collection” at ORWM 2013

SAN FRANCISCO (Jan. 15, 2013) – Timbuk2, the original San Francisco bag company creating products for global individualists on the go, announces a new line for Fall 2013, the California Collection, a reimagined homage to its hometown. This heritage-inspired collection is comprised of five classic designs loaded with today’s features, including two messenger bags, two backpacks and a tote bag. This new line will be unveiled at ORWM 2013 at booth #34171.

Taking cues from its longstanding roots in San Francisco, the California Collection is a fashion-forward throwback to its original iconic messenger bag. While Timbuk2’s product line and vision have grown from their classic messenger bag created in 1989, the San Francisco original hasn’t strayed too far from its signature aesthetic and functions. Super-tough fabrics, functionality, bold colors, and playful design details have been part of Timbuk2’s DNA for the past 24 years.

The Timbuk2 California Collection is a look into what the original Timbuk2 bags would look like if they were reimagined for today’s frenetic life.
