SAN FRANCISCO – Timbuk2, the San Francisco-based manufacturer, announces a collaboration with Woolrich to launch a limited-edition “Made in America†collection of classic, durable messenger bags and packs. Featuring Woolrich fabrics chosen specifically for this line, Timbuk2 introduces three styles all handmade in Timbuk2’s manufacturing facility in San Francisco. The Timbuk2 Woolrich “Made in America†collection will be available on October 29 on www.timbuk2.com and at select specialty stores, just in time for holiday shopping season.
Born and bred in 1989 in a San Francisco garage by a bike messenger named Rob Honeycutt with an old sewing machine, Timbuk2 has been building bags and accessories for urban adventurers with a simple philosophy – create good-looking, durable bags consumers can truly make their own.
