Timofey Tararin Joins The North Face ® as Russia Country Manager
The North Face®, the world’s premier supplier of authentic, innovative and technically advanced outdoor apparel, equipment and footwear, today announced plans to further expand the brand’s presence in Russia. Toward this aim, The North Face® has created the new position of Country Manager for Russia, to be filled by industry veteran, Timofey Tararin.

Toward this aim, The North Face® has created the new position of Country Manager for Russia, to be filled by industry veteran, Timofey Tararin.
Tararin most recently served for five years as Sales Director for Puma, and possesses deep knowledge and connections within the outdoor retail and sporting goods industries. In his new role with The North Face®, Tararin will report directly to the The North Face Sales Director EMEA (Europe, Middle East and Africa), Timo Schmidt-Eisenhart. “With Timofey’s solid industry experience and knowledge of contemporary Russian business culture, we are confident that he will advance the brand’s presence within the Russian Federation,†commented Schmidt-Eisenhart. “We are very pleased to welcome Timofey to The North Face® team.â€
Tararin’s appointment serves as evidence of the brand’s growing emphasis on the Russian market. The brand is already actively engaged in sponsorship activities, such as the Russian Adventure stage of the Freeride World Tour in the mountains of Sochi, Russia. And, presently, the company’s Moscow office is also near completion. In addition to these initiatives, The North Face® looks forward to providing a complete range of authentic outdoor apparel, footwear, equipment and accessories for men, women and children initially in both Moscow and St Petersburg. “The authenticity and innovation of The North Face® brand, along with its wide range of products, are a natural fit for the Russian market,†said Tararin.
Moving forward, Tararin will drive ambitious plans for The North Face® brand expansion in Russia. Under his leadership, The North Face® Russia will roll out a sound distribution strategy, in order to further develop the brand and cover the vast Russian geography.
