Toad&Co Announces Grand Opening Celebration For Its Retail Location In Glenwood Springs, Colorado

Store Opened in Partnership With Treadz; Grand Opening Celebration Planned for September 15, 2017
Santa Barbara, Calif. (August 28, 2017) – Toad&Co, the lifestyle apparel brand inspired by the outdoors, is thrilled to announce the grand opening celebration for its new 1200-square-foot retail location at 816 Grand Ave in Glenwood Springs, Colorado. The grand opening celebration will include live music, food, drink and good company – a great excuse to bring folks together and enjoy what the Glenwood Springs community has to offer.
“We are thrilled to open a new partner store in Glenwood Springs – a town that embodies the “Trail to Tavern®” heritage and aesthetic of the Toad&Co brand,” notes Scott Whipps, Toad&Co’s vice president of sales. “With a second store in Colorado, we honor the roots of the company that was founded in Telluride, and connect with a vibrant, outdoor community that values recreation, sustainability and the environment. It’s a perfect fit for the brand.”
The new retail space will mirror Toad&Co’s existing stores in Freeport, Maine, Golden, Colorado and Portland, Oregon, offering a full selection of the brand’s sustainable apparel for men and women. The shop will also carry other accessories, gifts and more from complimenting brands with a focus on Colorado-based companies.
In the spirit of serving as a community partner, the store will support local nonprofits such as River Bridge Regional Center, Roaring Fork Outdoor Volunteers and Roaring Conservancy. The store staff will also participate in local trail cleanup efforts, host local artists and musicians and continue the tradition of fun events and gatherings set by Toad&Co’s partner, TreadZ.
A grand opening celebration is planned for Friday, September 15 from 6-9pm. The celebration will include music by the Well Beings Band, Oktoberfest beer from Glenwood Canyon Brewing, wine selection by Cooper Wine & Spirits and of course some good eats.
