“As a life-long outdoorsman and a Trailspace member, I’m overjoyed to blend the activities I’m passionate about with the opportunity to serve a growing, dynamic community,” said Levy. “Through outreach and new partnerships, I’m looking forward to spreading the word about our forums, gear reviews, and great people.”
“Seth is a great advocate for outdoors people and the outdoors life. Plus he’s a positive and fun person to be around,” said Trailspace co-founder and editor in chief Alicia MacLeay. “We’re excited to have him as our Community Evangelist, engaging with and serving our amazing backcountry community.”
Levy’s recent experiences include completing a winter 1,000-mile hike on the Appalachian Trail, and founding a consulting practice to advise outdoor industry companies and nonprofit organizations in establishing mutually beneficial partnerships.
Previously an employee of America Hiking Society (AHS), Levy assisted in passing legislation designating 2.1 million acres of wilderness, thousands of miles of trails, and the first entirely new system of public lands in decades. He also participated in designing and re-launching AHS’s website.
