Travis Zarins takes over role of GOPC Merchandise Manager

Tom Valone, President and founder of Great Outdoor Provision Co. has announced that Travis Zarins will replace him as the Merchandise Manager for the company. As such, Zarins will work with all Product Managers on the metrics of their buys and merchandise plans, triage vendors, and coordinate the marketing and merchandising needs identified by the Product Managers with Marketing and the General Retail Manager respectively.

Amy Quinn, will assume Zarins’ role in buying and managing Men’s / Women’ s sportswear, outerwear and lifestyle footwear. The transition will be complete for the Fall ’12 buying season. Quinn has outdoor retail and merchandising experience, and a Masters in Fashion Design and Textiles from NC State University. She is a Phi Beta Kappa graduate of NC State.
