Treksta Footwear will be showcasing its new footwear technology at the Outdoor Retailer Summer Market next week, one of which is a first for the footwear industry and exclusive to Treksta.
Treksta is known for its incredibly comfortable and supportive fit, utilizing Nestfit technology throughout all models. Nestfit is an ergonomic, supportive design that perfectly matches the contours of your foot. Every part of the shoe or boot – sole, midsole, insole, upper, toe box, arch – is constructed to naturally “nest” your foot in support and comfort, thereby improving balance on uneven terrain, relieving foot pressure and fatigue, and preventing blisters. In combination with Nestfit, Spring 2015 sees the introduction of two new technologies by Treksta; Zero-Tie® Hands Free Lacing and Gore-tex® Surround™
Zero-Tie® Hands Free Lacing – A footwear first! Treksta’s Zero-Tie® technology is a foot activated lacing system that does not require you to bend over to do up your laces. You can tighten the laces via a hands free process using a slight backwards motion with your leg. To release the lacing, simply step on the release buckle at the back of the shoe. This technology is perfect for those who do not like to tie their laces and those with mobility issues. Because there is no bending over and no need for finger or hand dexterity to tension the lace, the system is simple and easy to use. Zero-Tie® will be available next spring in a men’s and women’s casual shoe called ‘Hands Free’. Try it for yourself! Treksta will have a Zero-Tie® demo center at their booth at Outdoor Retailer Summer Market, booth #32159
Gore-tex® Surround™ is at the leading edge of footwear technology and will be available in the All Day Trail (ADT) series of men’s and women’s shoes and boots. Surround™ utilizes special Gore-Tex® laminates that are integrated into the shoe upper and completely surround the foot on all sides, allowing 360 degree breathability and waterproofness. Treksta has special construction under foot to maximize movement of moisture and heat, allowing moisture vapor from sweat produced by your feet to be transported into the open structure of the “spacer” and from there, out of the shoe via ventilation outlets. The result is a faster sweat removal rate, keeping your feet dry and comfortable. Built for trail, travel and everyday walking, the comfort and functionality of Treksta’s ADT series is unmatched.
Treksta will also continue to offer its existing technologies in Spring Summer 2015:
Boa® Closure System – 3 models feature the Boa® lightweight, one hand, rapid lacing closure system.
Icelock™ – Micro glass filaments infused into the rubber outsole provide exceptional traction on wet and icy surfaces.
Independent Sole Technology (IST) – The midsole and outsole are specially constructed to allow individual lugs to function independently, to absorb shock and offer better traction on rough, variable ground, functioning much like automobile suspension.
