TRUE Communications Adds Talent For Strategy, Social, Content

(Sausalito, CA – July 25, 2018) Public relations firm TRUE Communications announced today that Garin Fons has joined the agency as Account Director. Fons most recently served as the Brand Manager of online retailer Competitive Cyclist and prior to that was the Marketing Manager for Mellow Johnny’s Bike Shop.
“Our clients are relying on us for a more diverse array of services including content creation, social media and influencer relationships in addition to public relations,” said Mark Riedy, TRUE Founder and CEO. “Garin’s deep understanding of brand and content marketing strategy and will play an important role in advancing TRUE’s continued expansion into a full-service communications and marketing agency.”

Fons will support media strategy and relations for several of TRUE’s core clients and provide counsel on brand marketing strategy and campaign planning. Fons will maintain his presence in Salt Lake City, representing TRUE in a region that is home to many of the outdoor industry’s most significant brands.
