ULU Boots announced it’s sponsorship of the United States Bobsledding and Skeleton Federation (USBSF) which has already claimed eight medals so far this season, including four golds, three silver and a bronze.
Brian Scranton, Director of Marketing at ULU expressed the company’s excitement about the sponsorship. “It was pretty incredible watching the winning sled push off the start with a 4”X4” ULU logo on it. Next, stop: Vancouver 2010!†said Scranton after a recent game in Park City, Utah.
Skeleton has been a sport participating in the Olympics since 2002. Similar to luge, Skeleton is a winter sport in which competitors aim to drive a one-person sled in a prone, head-first position down an ice track in the fastest time. Bobsledding has been as official Olympic sport since the very first Winter Olympics in 1922 with men’s four-crew bobsled. Women’s bobsledding made its debut in the 2002 Olympics in Salt Lake City.
