UnTapped launches sales-sharing program offering relief to local outdoor shops

RICHMOND, Vt. (April 1, 2020) — As shoppers around the country move toward online purchasing and gravitate away from traditional retailers, UnTapped is launching a program that aims to relieve some of the hardship felt by their retail partners.

For each purchase made through the UnTapped website, customers can select a local sports nutrition retailer to receive 20% of the purchase. Any local retailer can be identified, whether or not they carry UnTapped products. After the purchase UnTapped sends a check directly to the selected shop.

“We’re all feeling the uncertainty during this time,” explained Doug Brown, UnTapped co-founder. “By launching this product we’re hoping we can relieve some of the stress that brick and mortar retail stores are feeling so that they can come back strong and once again help serve outdoor enthusiasts.”

UnTapped is a manufacturer of all natural maple syrup based athletic fuels including syrup packets, waffles. and drink mixes.
