Unveiling a First Ever, Giesswein Footwear Merino Wool Sneaker

Lewiston, Maine, January 9th – Giesswein Footwear will unveil its first ever Merino Wool Tennie at the Outdoor Retailer show January 10th-12th in Salt Lake City. Made with sustainable practices, this new kind of hybrid outdoor active lifestyle shoe is part shoe, part sneaker, and urban-outdoor play shoe.
Soft and breathable boiled wool and lining to keep feet warm in the winter and cool in the warmer temperatures. With a cushion sole and arch support, Giesswein is brings indoor comfort all-over town.
The Merino sneaker features a removable EcoOrthoLite footbed lined with Giesswein’s unique 100% boiled wool merino/lambswool knit. The combination of the EcoOrthoLite bio-based formulation and Giesswein’s natural wool is in keeping with our environmentally sensitive production methods. The whole foot is wrapped in 100% natural, breathable, moisture-wicking merino wool, offering 360 degree comfort. Giesswein has integrated an EVA outsole that is super light and shock absorbing for optimal comfort and stability. The toe box is reinforced with soft but sturdy polymer/jute fiber for added durability and strength.
