Bailo, an Italian designer of mountaineering and rescue apparel is entering the U.S. market with a line of boutique-style skiwear. Well respected in Europe for technically advanced, high quality mountaineering apparel, the company will combine high performance features with a European fashion, flair and fit for a unique collection of winter ski clothing.

The Fly 2 is a shapely women’s jacket with removable fur trim and subtle Swarovski crystals. Stashing is easy with two handpockets, a small accessories pocket and a cellphone pocket. Windproof zippers ensure a comfortable ride. Delicate reflective detail and elegant contour stitching complete the look. Available in black or white, its msrp is $299.95.
Drawing from motorsports chic, the Gorki 47 is a Windstopper softshell men’s jacket with splashproof zippered pockets on the chest, arm and waist. A simple design is ideal for layering or for wearing alone. Other features include inner wrist gauntlets and subtle reflective trim. Available in red or black, its msrp is $199.95.
Mary 4 is a luxurious poodle fleece zip jacket that doubles as a stylish sweater. Thin stretch cuffs are designed for layering and stretch side panels and neck provide greater mobility and a snug fit. Available in red, black or ocean blue, its msrp is $119.95.
Hoggar 6, a men’s Windshield softshell jacket with a detachable hood is lined for extra warmth and features four front pockets for interesting detail and versatility. Available in black or forest green, its msrp is $299.95.
The Glacier 28 men’s jacket is a nicely tricked out freeride jacket featuring a GoreTex heat reflective inner lining, attached but concealable balaclava, detachable hood, and a detachable lower spine protector. Available in red or buff, its msrp is $599.95.
The Evenki 37 is an exceptionally light GoreTex shell with comfort mapping technology, enhancing the fit and comfort of this very technical piece. Three layer stretch and non-stretch GoreTex combine for outstanding color detail. Other features include pit zips, inner and outer accessory pockets and handwarmer pockets with two-way waterproof zippers. Recco compatible, the jacket is available in ocean blue for $599.95.
