Vasque Earns “Best In Dirt” From Trail Runner Magazine

Red Wing, MN. – The new Vasque Mercury trail running shoe has been honored by Trail Runner Magazine. In its May, 2007 edition, Trail Runner awarded the Mercury its top honor as “Best in Dirt”. The magazine’s trail tested review put fourteen of the most advanced and specialized new trail running shoes to the test as the Mercury came out on top.

The new Mercury is based on the award winning Vasque Blur outsole and last which provides a straight, low profile platform with ample room in the toe box for comfort on longer runs. A medially posted midsole and TPU instep cradle create a very stable shoe for runners who tend to pronate. A TPU injected textile forefoot plate strikes the perfect balance between natural foot flex and light weight underfoot protection.
