Jeff Lowe is one of the most influential climbers who has motivated others to push their limits and keep going in the face of adversity. He has innumerable first ascents, has designed notable gear and founded the Ouray Ice Festival, amongst many other achievements. To this day and throughout his struggles with his neurological disease, he continues to be an inspiration to those around him. Metanoia is about one man’s journey from the top of the world to the end of the line.

The film has received many awards and accolades, including Best Film at the Kendal Mountain Film Festival and just this past November, the film was a finalist at the Banff Mountain Film and Book Festival where the Metanoia team received an unheard of, three standing ovations throughout their presentation to a packed theater. Last week they received three standing ovations again in Vancouver when they received the Jury Award at the Vancouver International Film Festival.
The USA premiere of Metanoia will be at the Boulder International Film Festival, March 7th, 2015. All proceeds from the premiere will go to benefit the film and Jeff Lowe.
