Santa Clara e-bike maker hires VAGABOND Marketing, Pfaltzgraphic and Uncommon Communications
Santa Clara, Cal. – September 11, 2017

Vintage Electric Bikes, Silicon Valley-based builder of iconic, technologically advanced electric bicycles, is pleased to announce several strategic marketing additions to its team of visionaries and craftspeople.
VAGABOND Marketing, led by industry veteran Niki Jaimes, joins Vintage Electric on the heels of a comprehensive marketing career including wide-ranging marketing leadership duties at Specialized, GoPro, Bell Helmets, Chrome Industries, and most recently FOX.
Jaimes is charged with developing and executing brand marketing strategy. Among her duties is the construction of an experienced team of marketing specialists to assist in further broadening the brand’s awareness and appeal. To this end, James has appointed creative agency Pfaltzgraphic and Uncommon Communications to respectively assist with VEB’s creative and communications efforts.
“The Vintage Electric team possesses the intelligence, passion and drive to create amazing products, blending nostalgic moto style with leading electric bicycle innovation in a fun and engaging way,” offers Jaimes. “They’re poised to achieve even more and I’m delighted to bring the Pfaltzgraphic and Uncommon teams into the fold to help the brand take that next big step forward.”
Led by agency founder Michael Pfaltzgraff, Pfaltzgraphic joins the VEB marketing team to assist the brand in the realization of their creative vision. Alternately, Colorado-based Uncommon Communications is tasked with directing the brand’s media relations initiatives and copywriting efforts.
“Vintage Electric was founded in 2013 when we introduced our flagship Tracker model. Over the years we’ve successfully launched and developed several new models and unique special edition projects,“ offers Vintage Electric CEO Scott Brown. “As we evolve beyond our start-up roots it’s essential to support our transition into a larger organization by working intelligently and scaling wisely.”
“We strive to create amazing product experiences, to provide superior customer service and to build a world-class staff as we move forward,” continues Brown. “It’s incredibly fulfilling to have the collective creative, marketing, design and PR talent of VAGABOND, Pfaltzgraphic and Uncommon with us on this journey.”
