In an era of Twitter and Facebook, social communities are proving to be the new avenue for human interaction. As a result, Life Fitness has continuously enhanced its Virtual Trainer Web Site. Since its inception in June of 2008, the company has made several upgrades based on the site’s growing popularity and feedback from customers. Today the site boasts 21,290 users.

Since there’s no better motivator than pressure from friends, family and personal trainers, Life Fitness has upgraded the social networking feature available on its Virtual Trainer Web Site. The “Buddies” feature enables exercisers to create and share cardio workout programs with their friends and family. Through the new enhanced Buddies option on the Life Fitness Virtual Trainer Web Site, users can add a profile picture, group their buddies, share workouts and view buddies’ alerts on their homepage.

Taking it to the next level, the new advanced feature allows users to customize their profile image, providing a more personal experience. Users and personal trainers can also assemble their buddies into different groups based on fitness levels and preferences, making it easier to send the same workout to large groups. Easier to use, the new buddies feature is now available on the homepage allowing users to view new buddy invites and workouts.

The Virtual Trainer Web Site allows exercisers to create personalized workouts for use anywhere, anytime on Life Fitness Elevation Series of cardio products. Users can also track and organize their workout results, making it simple to view their progress from the Internet. The state-of-the-art tool also provides personal trainers with the ability to create personalized workouts for their clients virally.

Life Fitness Virtual Trainer Web Site is supported by the following operating systems: Windows 98 SE, 2000, XP, ME and Vista as well as Mac OS X tiger and Linux.

Further enhancements to the Web site will be available this year. Registration and access to the Life Fitness Virtual Trainer Web Site is free for facilities, trainers and exercisers. Facilities can also download free console software upgrades from the facility registration site.
