New is the word at Vision Fitness®, the premier specialty fitness brand of Johnson Health Tech, Inc. Vision just introduced a new look, along with a fresh line of innovative consoles, redesigned treadmills, a folding elliptical and a new Suspension Elliptical™ trainer.
“While our look has changed, we can wholeheartedly assure you that our pillars of trust, confidence, responsiveness and experience still stand tall in support of the Vision Fitness brand,†said Executive Vice President of Sales, Gary Peak. Vision has built an award-winning history, and it shows no signs of letting up. “Our sights are set squarely on the future and on the innovations of tomorrow that will improve the home and commercial fitness experience,†added Peak.
A fine embodiment of that statement are the company’s three brand-new consoles, the Touch, Elegant and Classic, which allow consumers to choose the console that best fits their needs.
Taking a cue from tablet computers, the aptly named Touch console features a touchscreen interface and bright, high-definition display (15.4 inches on treadmills and 10 inches on bikes and ellipticals). “Consumers find touchscreens easy to use, and the HD display gives exercisers an easy-to-read medium for viewing their workout data,†said Vice President of Global Marketing and Product Development, Mark Zabel. The console also includes a calendar-style workout journal to help up to five users monitor their fitness goals.
The stunning display also enhances the Touch console’s coolest feature: two built-in Virtual Activeâ„¢ workouts. During these workouts, the console plays HD footage and ambient noises from some of the world’s most scenic locations, giving users the ability to simulate a run, walk or ride in spectacular settings, as if they’re working out and sightseeing. The machines are synchronized to the workout videos so elevations rise and fall with changes in the landscape, and the video comes at you faster as you increase your pace.
The Elegant console has a vibrant LCD display and intuitive interface. For motivation and variety, it includes the aforementioned Virtual Active programs and the exclusive Sprint 8® workout. Perfect for time-starved exercisers, the medically proven Sprint 8 workout only requires three 20-minute workouts per week. Rounding out the console lineup is the Classic. Built for people who like to keep things simple, it features an extra-large LED display and familiar button interface.
Not to be overlooked is the new home Vision Fitness home treadmill lineup from Vision Fitness. Designed and developed in concert with the new consoles, the lineup features two folding treadmills ¬– the TF20 and TF40 – and the non-folding T40. All three models have sleek design aesthetics and a redesigned heavy-gauge steel frame for stability and long life. They also feature a durable cushioning system backed by a lifetime warranty and Vision’s signature dual-ply, maintenance-free belts that are pre-waxed to eliminate the need to reapply silicon over time.
To provide a low-impact exercise option for people with space limitations, Vision Fitness has also launched the XF40 elliptical. It features a highly durable welded-steel frame that folds for convenient moving and storage. Its 20-inch stride length and overlapping pedal motion provide a natural stride, while its dual-grip handlebars and oversized footpads offer maximum comfort.
Built for maximum durability, Vision’s new T80 treadmill is hitting the commercial market. This workhorse was designed for long life in settings like apartment complexes and hotels. The T80 offers Vision’s largest running surface, 60 x 22 inches, and a powerful three-horsepower, continuous-duty AC motor that is smooth and quiet at speeds up to 12 miles per hour.
Another new commercial offering is the S60 elliptical trainer. Featuring Vision’s unique Suspension Elliptical frame, the S60 offers a smooth, natural motion that mimics a natural gait while working your arms and upper body. The suspension frame design provides users with a great total-body workout that is easy on the joints – perfect for people who are starting a new exercise routine.
