Volkl Guitar is on the clock – Bid Now to Benefit High Five Foundation

On-Line Bidding Has Started For Katana Inspired Gibson Custom Guitar

LEBANON, NH. – In conjunction with its shift to more “rocker” skis within its line, Völkl has once again renewed its partnership with Gibson Guitars and is again offering up a Les Paul custom guitar.

The guitar is a Gibson Les Paul Custom model that was manufactured in Nashville, TN and highlights the graphics of Völkl’s popular ‘Katana’ big mountain, full-rocker ski featuring the company’s ELP technology.

The guitar will be auctioned on April 17th with proceeds to benefit the High Fives Foundation. Bidding has commenced – to check out the complete specifications of the Katana inspired Les Paul, please visit High Fives is a Tahoe-based non-profit organization that helps athletes who have suffered life changing injuries return to normal life and more specifically, to return to the winter action sports community.

“The collaboration with Gibson is a natural for Völkl,” said vice president of marketing Geoff Curtis. “Skiing and music go hand and hand – and it’s a great way to highlight our ‘rocker’ technology.”

Curtis also said Völkl couldn’t be more proud of the work that High Fives is doing and is honored to support their work by teaming with them on this auction.

High Fives will hold a silent auction for the guitar in Truckee, CA the day after its signature event called “Trains,” a unique slope style competition.
