Wave Sport Sponsors 29th Annual Gauley Fest

Greenville, S.C. – Wave Sport is once again supporting American Whitewater at the 29th annual Gauley Fest by raffling off a Project X 56 freestyle kayak. The festival is the largest river festival in the world and the biggest, single fundraising event for American Whitewater. Gauley Fest will take place September 14-16, 2012 in Summersville, W.V.

A longtime supporter of American Whitewater, Wave Sport believes in taking every opportunity to get out on the river and celebrate with the whitewater community, especially in support of the conservation of whitewater resources.

“The Gauley Fest embodies everything that Wave Sport represents: a passion for whitewater, rivers, and community,” said Jessica Prescott, marketing manager for Wave Sport. “It is the biggest river festival in the U.S. and the largest fundraiser for American Whitewater, so we are excited to support the event again this year.”

Wave Sport will have a booth at Gauley Fest and will be raffling off a brand new Project X 56 to one lucky winner. Tickets are $5 each or 5 for $20. All proceeds from the raffle benefit the whitewater preservation work of American Whitewater.
