Arc’teryx Announces New Senior Leadership Team Members

NORTH VANCOUVER, BC, May 30, 2018 — Arc’teryx Equipment Inc. is proud to announce that Megan Cheesbrough and George Weetman have been promoted to the company’s senior leadership team effective immediately. Adam Ketcheson, VP Global Marketing and B2C, will depart Arc’teryx effective June 1.

“At Arc’teryx we embrace change as an opportunity for evolution. Adam has done an amazing job driving our Brand and DTC strategy for the past six years,” says Jon Hoerauf, President, Arc’teryx. “We thank him for his contribution as he leaves us with a much stronger foundation. We are focused on being a consumer-first company that uses design to inspire.”

Megan Cheesbrough joins the Arc’teryx senior leadership team as the VP of Retail after serving as the Director of Global Retail and In-Store Excellence, and brings a keen focus on delivering memorable customer experiences to drive business results.

“I’m thrilled to be joining the team that will continue to re-imagine the future for the brand, for our consumer experiences, and for the many diverse and incredibly talented people that work for this company,” says Cheesbrough. “I truly believe however that the best is yet to come.”

George Weetman joins the senior leadership team as the VP, Brand and Digital Commerce after serving as the Director, Digital Commerce and Customer Experience, and brings a passion for celebrating the people behind the story.

“I’m extremely honoured to be working alongside so many talented brand marketing and digital folks from across the globe. Talent itself can be hard enough to find and retain, but great people combined with strong talent is where incredible things are allowed to happen,” says Weetman. “Arc’teryx is a brand that has always stood for evolution and I’m excited to be part the team that will be pushing us forward.”

The management changes reflect exciting changes within the brand. “We are strengthening our consumer-first focus by elevating our digital and retail leaders to the senior leadership team – where they will be empowered to challenge our way of thinking and unlock our next business evolution,” says Hoerauf.
