Sonoma, Calif., January 14, 2019 — The distinctive wine brand, WEST + WILDER of Sonoma, California, is proud to announce the appointment of Sausalito-based OutsidePR as its public relations Agency of Record.
The brainchild of longtime friends and enophiles, Matt Allan and Kenny Rochford, WEST + WILDER brings blends of premium and distinctive varietals to the fastest-growing segment of the wine industry: convenient, sustainable aluminum cans.
Allan and Rochford believe in wine’s ability to bring people together, start conversations, and make memories — properties that speak to OutsidePR’s expertise.

Working with non-vintage wines, West + Wilder is able to offer crisp, bright, delicious wines that taste brilliant right out of the can. The packaging is accessible and versatile and using safe, BPA-NI aluminum — one of the world’s most recycled materials — reinforces the commitment shown by being a member of 1% for the Planet.
WEST + WILDER works with female winemaker Ashley Holland who cut her teeth in California, Oregon, Australia and New Zealand and most recently has been the Assistant Winemaker at Sonoma based winery, Three Sticks. Ashley’s dedication to quality and sustainability makes her a phenomenal winemaking partner and a formidable female in the largely male-dominated arena of winemaking.
Currently, WEST + WILDER offers four wines, a White blend (Sauvignon Blanc, Chenin Blanc, Viognier Muscat, and Chardonnay), Rose (Pinot Noir, Carignane, and Zinfandel), White Sparkling (Sauvignon Blanc, Chenin Blanc, Pinot Gris, and Albariño) and Rose Sparkling (Pinot Noir, Pinot Gris, and Malvasia). Allan and Rochford suggest that WEST + WILDER wines are “Perfect in places where glass is not: poolside, beach, golf course, spa, concerts, and parks. Cans preserve freshness, are light, durable and easy to ship, carry and chill.”
WEST + WILDER’s labels are also a thing of beauty, adorned with botanical illustrations depicting native West Coast flowers from, The Wild Flowers of California: Their Names, Haunts, and Habits (1897) by Mary Elizabeth Parsons, an avid hiker and outdoors-woman in the Northern California region.
