Thule, the world leader in Sport Utility Transportation, announced today the hiring of Karl Wiedemann as Product Manger. Wiedemann will be responsible for the development of fit kits and load carriers, as well as the introduction of Thule snow chains in the North American market. Wiedemann will report to TJ Hanson, VP of Marketing.

“Load carriers are the cornerstone of our business and we are confident that we’ll be able to improve our competitive advantage in the category with Karl’s guidance,” said Hanson. “We always admired the work that Karl did while at Pedro’s and are excited to have him join our team.”

Wiedemann comes to Thule from Decathlon USA where he was the Marketing and Business Development Manager. Prior to Decathlon USA, Wiedemann spent 10 years at Pedro’s USA, where he held various positions including Product Manager and Marketing Communications Manager.
