Wigwam Sock Fundraisers at Outdoor Retailer Support Winter Wildlands Alliance and the Ice Age Trail Alliance

Sheboygan, WI. – Wigwam Mills Inc., the family-owned maker of premium, made-in-the-USA socks since 1905, invites Outdoor Retailer Summer Market attendees to drop by the Wigwam booth #UL51081 on Day 1 & 2 of the show to make a donation and receive a pair of socks to support two worthy non-profit organizations, Winter Wildlands Alliance and the Ice Age Trail Alliance.
“I always shop for birthday and holiday gifts at Outdoor Retailer, because my dollars go twice as far when I support the non-profits supporting the outdoor initiatives so important to all of us,” says Paige Boucher, of Inside|Out Communications, who has never missed an Outdoor Retailer show.
Day 1 (Monday, July 23) – Socks on Day 1 are $10 with 50% going to support the Winter Wildlands Alliance, a nationwide alliance of grassroots groups, athletes, guides, scientists, mountaineers, photographers, skiers, splitboarders and other human-powered adventurers — working together with forward-thinking companies to protect the primal winter landscapes we know and love. Through funding and facilitating local advocacy, access, citizen science, avalanche safety and stewardship programs, we will Keep Winter Wild!
Day 2 (Tuesday, July 24) – Socks on Day 2 are $5 with 100% going to support the Ice Age Trail Alliance, a volunteer and member-based organization that works to create, support and protect the Ice Age National Scenic Trail in Wisconsin. One of only 11 National Scenic Trails, the Ice Age Trail stretches 1200-miles across the state and highlights Wisconsin’s world-renowned Ice Age heritage and natural resources.
