Sheboygan, Wisconsin, Saturday, December 1, 2012 – Wigwam, The Performance Sock Company is proud to announce a new partnership as the official sock sponsor for British Ski-X Champion, Pam Thorburn.
Fueled by the desire to be faster than her older brother, a love of speed was obvious from an early age and her talent saw her win the Scottish Championships aged 9. The following year she qualified for the British children’s team.
Having been a fixture of the British Alpine team for the last 9 years, she decided on a change and recently made the switch to Freestyle. In March of 2012, Pam finished 1st to be Britians Ski-X Champion.
Pam will be representing the Wigwam brand at the Canadian National Championships as well as all World Cup Events including, World Cup Nakista, World Cup Telluride, World Cup Innichen, World Cup Sierra Nevada, and several others. In addition, Pam is also aiming to compete in the 2014 games in Sochi, Russia.
