Wilderness Systems Zephyr 15.5 ST Ltd, is a Canoe & Kayak "Chosen One"

Easley, S.C. – The Canoe & Kayak Annual Buyer’s Guide hits the newsstands this week. For the gear-obsessed and the neophyte alike, it is the culmination of an eleven-month wait to gather information on just about every boat on the market. The venerable editors of Canoe & Kayak also use this issue to announce the list of “Chosen Ones,” their choices for the best boats of the year.

The Zephyr 15.5 ST Limited Edition was a head-turner, when it made its debut at Outdoor Retailer Summer Market 2008. The carbon/Kevlar touring kayak hit a visceral nerve with onlookers; their connection with this boat seemed to remind them of why they began paddling, or inspired them to want to. For those who have taken it out on the water, the efficiency, speed and responsiveness prove it is much more than just a pretty face.

Only 50 of the Zephyr 15.5 ST Limited Edition will be issued worldwide. It will be available at select specialty retailers in February 2009. Retail: $ 5,000.
