Woolrich Promotes Company Veteran to Women’s Merchandising Director

WOOLRICH, Pa., April 8, 2010— Woolrich, the Original Outdoor Clothing Company®, announces the promotion of Woolrich veteran Cathy Peddie to Director of Women’s Merchandising.
Peddie will be responsible for directing all merchandising efforts including product development, strategic planning and implementation for all women’s products.
“Cathy has been an invaluable asset to our team and instrumental in the success of our women’s collections,” said Rick Insley, Senior VP of Merchandising, Retail & Licensing.
Peddie joined Woolrich in 1979 as an administrative assistant and over the years worked in various positions at the company. She was most recently the women’s merchandising manager.
“I am excited to have the opportunity to be involved in moving the company forward,” said Peddie. “Woolrich, Inc. has a great past and a promising future. There are exciting times ahead!”
