Yakima Partners with Portland Police Bureau for New Bike Carriers

– Beaverton-based vehicle rack company provides new SwingDaddy hitch bicycle racks for eight patrol vehicles –

Yakima Products, Inc., the innovation leader in vehicle racks and cargo solutions, has donated eight SwingDaddy bicycle racks to the Portland Police Bureau. The racks, which can carry up to four bikes, will be distributed throughout the Bureau, including Portland’s three major precincts and the Transit Police Division, for installation on patrol vehicles. The Bureau plans to use them for transporting police bikes for special city and community events and crowd control situations.
