Yaktrax & DryGuy Announce Sponsorship of Big Air at Fenway Ski and Ride Competition

Hosting participants from around the world, Big Air at Fenway brings professional skiing and riding to an urban audience 

Boston, MA (February 10, 2016) – Yaktrax and DryGuy, two long time sponsors of the US Ski Team, are proud to announce their sponsorship of the 2016 Big Air at Fenway event.

With competitors from around the world including Olympians Joss Christensen, Sage Kostenburg, and Ty Walker, Big Air at Fenway is a unique stop on the World Cup tour, bringing a sport more often associated with remote mountain towns to a heavily urban environment.

Big Air at Fenway will center on a snow-covered ramp towering 140 feet over center field. A cash purse of $150,000 will be split among the event’s top finishers.

The two-night event is scheduled for February 11-12 and will feature snowboarding Thursday night with freeskiing scheduled for Friday. Event organizers are expecting a total of 25,000 attendees.

Yaktrax and DryGuy will join several other sponsors on-site at Fenway, offering attendees demos, giveaways, and coupons to local retailers.
