Woodstock, VT (November 21, 2013) – Following the successful launch of Yonder, the social app for iPhone and iPod touch app that allows users to discover and share outdoor adventures, Green Mountain Digital has worked hard to take the app to the next level. Yonder 2.0, influenced by iOS 7, features a clean layout, simplified navigation, advanced mapping, and more prominent activity filters, making it easier than ever for users to find outdoor experiences that they’ll love.

Created for everyone from backyard explorers to backcountry adventurers, Yonder connects users by allowing them to share their experiences with geolocated photos, videos and commentary. Other Yonderers can like, comment on and share experiences that inspire them. An expansive database of outdoor locations makes it easy to find and explore destinations that should be on everyone’s bucket list.

Yonder App Features Include:
• Clean look and feel
• Simplified design inspired by iOS 7
• Streamlined navigation
• Emphasis on activities users love
• An interface that elevates and highlights users’ content
• One-tap mapping that finds places and experiences near your location

In addition, the experience of using the app has been refined significantly, with useful shortcuts and subtle interface tweaks placed throughout the app. For example, Yonderers now can simply pinch the feed to bring up an image gallery, or swipe on a photo or video to reveal more advanced options. The feed has also been optimized to highlight only the best content that’s tailored to each individual user. After launching the app for the first time, users are asked to select their very favorite activities, and Yonder does the rest, populating the feed with interesting and beautiful experiences based on that individual’s specific tastes.

“Our community, just by its nature is very engaging, so we were able to connect and determine areas where improvements were desired,” said Justine Riegel, Marketing Manager for Yonder. “Yonder makes discovering and sharing outdoor adventures easier than ever.”

The Yonder App is available for free from the App Store on iPhone and iPod touch or at Here’s a short video that the team made to provide a feel for the app.
