ZOIC Golden Ticket Rewards Shop Employees with $500 of Free Gear

ZOIC today unveiled a “Golden Ticket” giveaway that entitles the lucky shop that receives it to redeem the certificate for up to $500 total retail value of ZOIC product to stoke out staff. The Golden Ticket will be placed inside a regular merchandise shipment to one randomly selected dealer each month. “We want to show our appreciation to the employees on the floor who help spread the ZOIC mantra to ride more and dress well, and also create excitement around every new arrival of ZOIC product in store,” stated ZOIC marketing specialist Amy de Leon.

The Golden Ticket giveaway borrows from an infamous business promotion conceived by fictional manager Michael Scott of “The Office” that drew from Roald Dahl’s classic children’s tale “Charlie & the Chocolate Factory”. The giveaway complements the successful “EZ” campaign launched by ZOIC in March that allows any bike shop employee to purchase directly from ZOIC.com at 60% off retail. The company has seen a significant number of both initial and repeat product purchases from employees of dealers and non-dealers alike. Sensing untapped demand for its clothing and seeking a mechanism to reward dealer staff, ZOIC quickly conceived the Golden Ticket giveaway.

All dealers who order from ZOIC are eligible; regardless of whether it’s their first order, preseason order or fill-in. Whoever opens up a box containing a Golden Ticket is the lucky winner to get ZO-I-FIED. The only restrictions are that a certificate is only good for 30 days, it must be used for a single order and, having learned a lesson from Michael Scott, ZOIC will enforce a limit of 1 Golden Ticket per dealer per year. ZOIC dealers are encouraged to instruct their staff to open every ZOIC shipment upon arrival and look for the Golden Ticket in every box.
