Outdoor Retailer announces 2020 Inspiration Award winners

Yesterday evening, on the second night of the all-virtual trade show OR Online, the organizers of Outdoor Retailer presented the annual Inspiration Awards to industry leaders in six categories: individual, manufacturer, retailer, nonprofit organization, youth, and a new category called #weareCommunity, meant to highlight exceptional work during the coronavirus pandemic.
The awards were hosted by climber Timmy O’Neill and featured speeches from the winners as well as short profiles of the nominees in each category.
The prizes went to Teresa Baker, Faith Briggs, and Tracy Nguyen-Chung (individual); Smartwool (manufacturer); Outdoor Gear Exchange (retailer); Greening Youth Foundation (nonprofit); Tatiana Butte (youth); and Aftershokz (#weareCommunity).
