VF Corporation’s CEO Steve Rendle has been selected as the featured speaker at Camber Outdoors’ Thought-Leader Keynote during Outdoor Retailer Summer Market.

During his keynote, Rendle will talk about the role and responsibility of purpose-led companies and the importance of helping to advance inclusion and diversity throughout the outdoor industry. According to Camber Outdoors, VF and its many iconic brands—The North Face, JanSport, Eagle Creek, Smartwool, Timberland, Icebreaker, and Reef—work to ensure the outdoors is accessible to all, and are committed to reflecting the demographics of participants within their workforce.

“We are honored to provide a forum for Steve to share his perspectives and expertise with the industry leaders and influencers who attend Outdoor Retailer Summer Market,” said Deanne Buck, executive director of Camber Outdoors. “Whether through his own actions or those of VF and its brands, his influence on the outdoor industry has been inspirational and lasting, and we look forward to hearing his unique insights on how we can collectively continue to elevate our industry.”

Past Thought-Leader speakers include former CamelBak CEO Sally McCoy, REI Co-op CEO and President Jerry Stritzke, Burton Snowboards CEO and Co-Founder Donna Carpenter, Patagonia CEO Rose Marcario, and many more.
