With education being high on the list for fitness professionals, the Club Industry East show can offer a venue for taking seminars and taking a peek at an exhibit hall.

Focused on the East Coast, the show in late May has more than 85 sessions in various tracks. Plus, Nancy Snyderman, chief medical officer for NBC News, is the keynote speaker on May 28.

Workshops and seminars cover topics such as being green and saving money, how the fitness business has changed, and critical ways to cut costs. Trainers and other instructors (including retail sales staff) can find other sessions that offer how-to information and continuing education credits, as well as testing to gain certification.

Exhibitors include Cybex, Fundamental Fitness, Matrix, Octane, Precor, SportsArt,

Spri, WaterRower and Woodway, plus an array of club-focused suppliers.

The conference will be at the Boston Convention and Exhibit Center, May 27-30. Early registration discounts are available through April 24.
