In an Oct. 29, 2009, conference call with exhibitors, the management team of the Health & Fitness Business show painted a picture of the show’s declines on both sides of the aisle since 2005. Click here to see an Oct. 30 SNEWS story about the information presented on the call.
Show owner Nielsen Business Media has told SNEWS it expects to make a decision about the show and its venue and format in November. SNEWS will close this survey Nov. 10 and pass on a summary of results to the HFB management to help in its decision. We will also summarize what our readers said in a short mid-November story.
So far, the HFB management team has focused on exhibitor feedback, but we at SNEWS would like to hear from all industry segments, from exhibitors and retailers, to dealers and consultants.
Click here to get started on the SNEWS survey about the show’s future. And feel free to pass the link (www.outsidebusinessjournal.com/HFBFutureSurvey) to colleagues and others in the industry. All voices welcome!
Note: We at SNEWS are not involved in organizing or managing, let alone owning, the HFB show. We are media sponsors and, because we have believed in helping the industry get more out of its show, we have tried to bring education, entertainment and networking to the venue, as well as to offer HFB management advice when requested. As usual, we are trying to strengthen your show and aid the management in a decision based on your input. Feel free to email snewsbox@snewsnet.com if you have any questions or comments.
