1. The Conservation Alliance Breakfast

7 a.m. to 9 a.m. at the Hyatt Regency, 650 15th St.: Renowned author Timothy Egan‘s presentation will put the current battle over America’s public lands in historical context, tracing their path from Teddy Roosevelt to Donald Trump. This one is open to the public
2. Healthy Happy Hour

4 to 6 p.m. at the Aloft Denver Downtown Hotel, 800 15th St.: It’s totally OK not to drink alcohol at OR, but it doesn’t always feel that way when the beer is flowing. Nonprofit The Phoenix is creating a welcoming space—The Health Happy Hour—for anyone who’s sober or sober supportive, but still wants to mingle and have some clear-headed fun.
3. Deuter’s 120th Birthday

4 to 6 p.m. at Deuter’s booth 37055-UL: Now here’s a reason to celebrate. At 120 years, the German company is older than anybody on Earth (we fact-checked it!). Join the crew in raising a glass, snacking on pretzels, and listening to music, and other German hoopla. All proceeds of pack deals and a raffle will go to the Continental Divide Trail Coalition.
4. The Pitch @ Wayfinder

6:30 p.m. at Wayfinder Co-op, 525 Santa Fe Dr.: Up-and-coming outdoor industry entrepreneurs take the stage to pitch their businesses to a panel of experts, include venture capitalist Craig Cooper. Who will be the next best outdoor industry start-up and take home the cash prize? Come see what these great minds are creating, and join in for an epic after-party to follow.
5. Night of Stoke
Doors open 6:30 p.m. in the Bellco Theatre, Colorado Convention Center, 700 14th St.: Outdoor Retailer and the Colorado Outdoor Recreation Industry Office announce the Night of Stoke presented by 5Point Film Festival. A portion of the proceeds from the night will benefit the Land and Water Conservation Fund, responsible for protecting parks, trails, wildlife refuges, and federal, state, and local recreation areas.
