1. Snow Show Kickoff Breakfast: A New Era of Collaboration

7:15 to 8:45 a.m. Wednesday (Day 1) in Meeting Room 401: In order to address important issues, position our industries for success, and continue to innovate for the future, industry-wide collaboration is paramount. Speakers include Cam Brensinger from NEMO Equipment and Patricia Campbell from Vail Resorts. Plus, stick around for a historic announcement and an important climate discussion.

2. Coffee and Happy Hours with The Voice 

8:30 to 11 a.m. Wednesday (Day 1), and 4 to 6 p.m. Wednesday (Day 1) and Thursday (Day 2) at Booth #56131-UL: Celebrate the launch of our new trade journal, The Voice, with coffee and donuts in the morning and alcoholic and non-alcoholic mixed drinks in the afternoon. Make sure to grab a copy—yours could have a golden ticket for a big backpacking trip. You can also enter our giveaways for gear and a My Planet Pass.

3. Primus Campfire Cook-Off

4:30 to 5 p.m. Wednesday (Day 1) and Thursday (Day 2) at Booth #39105-UL: Cheer on your favorite brand in an Iron Chef-style competition between four brands: Dakine vs. Fjällräven and Atomic vs. Salomon. The winner will get $750 donated in their name to Camber Outdoors by Primus (a total of $1,500 over the two days. The audience can also support Camber Outdoors directly. Each donation of $5 or more gets donors a Primus cutlery set and a chance to win a Primus prize package worth more than $500. 

4. POW Party with an appearance by Colorado Gov. Jared Polis

7 to 9 p.m. Wednesday (Day 1) at the McNichols Building at 144 West Colfax: POW’s annual party provides a platform for members of the outdoor community to connect with one another and offers inspiration to take action on climate. This time, outdoor athletes and industry leaders will be alongside Colorado’s new governor. His administration is  aiming to move the state’s grid to 100 percent renewable sources by 2040 and readily advocates for Colorado’s $28 billion outdoor recreation economy.

5. Camber Outdoors Thought-Leader Keynote

7 a.m. Friday (Day 2) in Meeting Room 401: This show’s topic is Everyone’s Outdoors: A Conversation with Wendy Yang, president of HOKA, Teva, Sanuk; Jim Weber, CEO of Brooks Running; Kim Miller, CEO of SCARPA; and Amy Roberts, executive director of Outdoor Industry Association. 12 to 1 p.m. Wednesday through Friday (Day 1 to Day 3) in Meeting Room 401: Presented in partnership with Snowsports Industries America, OIA has a roster of interesting topics over lunch: Advancing Your Climate Strategy; State of the Rockies and Conservation in the West; and Why Investing in Outdoor Participation Now Will Pay Off Later.
