SNEWS & Outdoor Retailer to expand trade show coverage with new Show Daily, digital products

Boulder, Colo. – Michael Hodgson, president of SNEWS®, the outdoor industry’s leading trade news service, today announced that Active Interest Media’s Outdoor Group has been awarded the contract to produce the Outdoor Retailer Show Daily along with the Outdoor Retailer Summer Market and Winter Market Directories. In addition to taking over these print properties, SNEWS and AIM’s Outdoor Group, which also includes Backpacker, Climbing and Urban Climber, will be working closely with the Outdoor Retailer team to offer expanded coverage pertinent to the trade show throughout the year. The SNEWS team will also report from other industry and Outdoor Retailer events between the primary summer and winter shows.
The expanded SNEWS coverage between the Winter Market and Summer Market shows will complement the Live from OR exhibitor brand product videos, links to product reviews by independent news outlets and blogs, OR Summer market photo galleries and RSS feeds of current industry news already live on the Outdoor Retailer website.
