SnowSports Industries America announced Thursday it has sold out exhibitor booth space for the 2013 SIA trade show at the Colorado Convention Center in Denver, Jan. 31-Feb. 3, 2013.

Officials said they will maintain a waiting list for interested companies.
“After this season’s less than stellar snowfall, it’s encouraging to see our industry continue to stay positive and look to the future,” SIA Chair Tim Petrick said in a statement.
The 2012 show included covered 334,640 net square feet, with 927 brands from 470 exhibitors.
SIA’s Board of Directors voted against increasing booth space fees for the 2013 SIA Snow Show, which officials said represents seven years of booth fees remaining the same.
Friedrichshafen stays put
Also Thursday, organizers with Europe’s OutDoor tradeshow announced a new contract that will keep the annual summer event in Friedrichshafen, Germany through 2013.
Officials said the shift to a rolling contract for tradeshow is a “natural result of a successful long-time partnership” and actually improves the chances that the show will continue in Friedrichshafen beyond 2013.
Friedrichshafen has hosted OutDoor since the beginning in 1994, and the city name is commonly used to refer to the trade show. The 2012 edition will take place July 12-15.
In 2011, the show hosted 890 exhibitors from 40 countries and 21,520 industry attendees from 91 countries.
