Three business groups in Michigan—the Michigan Economic Development Corporation, Right Place, and the Michigan Outdoor Recreation Industry Office—are about to close the submission process for a competition that will promote small outdoor companies located in Mason, Lake, Oceana, and Newaygo counties. The “virtual pitch event” invites selected applicants to pitch their businesses to contest judges on October 27th, where owners will have the chance to win awards like free merchandising, prototyping, reputation management, geo-targeted marketing, photography/video production, and more.
