Jimmy Chin says "Make a damn plan to vote"

Protect Our Winters (POW) recently launched a campaign to get all outdoor enthusiasts to make a plan to hit the polls this November. Today, they dropped a 2-minute video narrated by Jimmy Chin that’s worth a watch.
We spoke to POW founder Jeremy Jones about voter turnout, which he’s been working on for the last four years. “We view the outdoor community as the ultimate swing state,” he says. “There are 50 million people in the U.S. who are outdoor enthusiasts, and traditionally, as a group, we don’t have the best voter turnout.”
Jones and POW want to make sure that everyone who loves and appreciates the outdoors understands how important this election is. “We need a healthy planet for this industry to survive and for all of us to continue to have wild places to recreate. That’s why we’ve created this tool to help get people to the polls. If we can get people who love the outdoors to the polls, we’ll ensure the future health of our planet and the protection of our wild places. This is more urgent than ever.”
